Casual Connect 2008
I just got back from three very busy days at Casual Connect, a conference in Seattle specifically targeted at the people making cute games like Aveyond, Bejeweled, Diner Dash, etc. Every year I've gone, the conference has doubled in attendance and lots of older established game companies like EA have started entering the arena that small developers like me have called home. At the conference, I collected lots of loot. Most of the loot is worthless, but I found a couple of gems.My favorites were my stuffed fish from Big Fish Games and my two puff balls from PopCap. screen.width-540)this.width=540" border='0' alt='' />You have no idea how long it took me to take this picture. Finally... GUILDED :D
Whoopee everyone! I finally got my 1000 gold. And here's my first blog entry!!!Lol, actually I got it yesterday (and stopped right at a 1000), but I really had to sleep already. My mom was calling me But anyway, I have chosen today after leaving! Yes, after a lot of thinking, I finally chose.The Druids!!! Sure, when I first came to Amaranthia, I probably guessed I would be in the Enchanters or Dragon Lords, them both having a big population of people and usually are the ones who's always online. But then I realized... those guilds really don't suit me. (of course, only me. But I still think they're great guilds. After all, it was really hard to choose.)Anyway, luckily for me Amaranth Senshi helped me decide, even if they didn't have to do anything. Our little club taught me to fight for peace, like any druid would. Plus, I have 3 great friends there. And we are all in the Amaranth Senshi. Plan for this year: Aveyond 3, Disco Drink Factory & Shaz!!!
Hi everyone, I wanted to let you all know that the Aveyond 3 project kicks off in August and should be finished next spring. Main roles belong to Mel, a thief girl who picks the wrong pocket, Te'ijal our wickedly funny vampress, Galahad, our reluctant knight in shining armor, and a really evil vampire mage who wants to enslave the "weakling" sun walkers.I also wanted to let you know that Shaz has joined the staff as a game developer! She is going to help us deliver more games to you! Her first project is Disco Drink Factory, a spin off of Yummy Drink Factory. This will give Shaz an opportunity to familiarize herself with my source code (scary!), game creation process, and the game development business. This is very exciting for me because Shaz has 20 years of development experience and I can't wait to learn from her. Eventually she plans to create her own games, but for now, we've got her! Busy Busy Busy, A very Busy Week!
It's yet another one of those busy busy week. i got so many stuff to do and I don't know where to start.I got my finals coming, game project being dead like zombie, brotherhood event, game progress, facebooking, taking care of my pets, assigning armies, preparing my desk for some serious revision, extra classes. ARRGGHHH! Kabooooooommm! GAME OVER.The pressure, the pressure. I am not sure what to do now when there are so many important things I need to keep up with. I need some help here, I need someone or something to spark my motivation. I'm feeling like I'm on another world @_@Confusions are all around me @_@

I have done a very, very bad thing >.<
I have done a very, very bad thing. Well, not today. But 1 week ago, and I have to get it off my chest. My house has a normal, average garden where Snowball loves to snooze and nibble and stuff rabbits do. I have a small patch of the garden which I call mine, after permission from my mom. So I actually take gardening very seriously and now I have beautiful flowers. The only problem is preventing Snowball from eating my plants XDAnyway I was weeding and noticed some loose soil near a tiny flower pot of mine. Curious, I brushed the soil off.Guess what I found.A whole nest of snail eggs. How did I know they were snail eggs? Well, they were round, yellow in colour and 5 millimetres in diameter and wrapped in some sort of transparent, sticky sac.And I screamed. (Forgive me but I wasn't fond of snails! XD) And my mom ran out and her face turned white when I told her what those were. She told me to get rid of it LOLAnd so I did. But at that time I was feeling evil.So I ran in the house, snatc...
